Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional basketball player. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale was a college basketball player playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as the fifth overall selection for the year 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Since she was the eldest, her parents gave her the most exemplary treatment. Gregory his father was a soldier with the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale has a thriving lineage of family members. Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. In July 2014 she was picked to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named on the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player.
