Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films generally that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from these films. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 when she became popular in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that cover the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
